Sales, PR & Marketing coordinator

Start date: November 2018
Salary: 19 - 21K dependent on experience

A fast-growing PR membership platform revolutionising the industry. Award-nominated, PR Dispatch is the UK’s first DIY PR platform dedicated to product-based businesses. We really care about our community, and support them through online learning, workshops and educational material.

You are: 
You are a entrepreneurial go-getter who doesn’t take no for an answer with an intuitive sense of what is exciting and engaging in today’s world. You keep up-to-date with the media landscape – be it magazines, newspapers, or online platforms – and you are aware of how different publications work for different audiences. You’re a great writer, will be able to translate this into impactful and engaging copy.

You are highly organised and will be able to manage the needs of our community, social media, content and day-to-day workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You always go above and beyond and want to dedicate your time to making a difference in a small company.

Your Role: 
A unique opportunity to make a real impact in an small business while learning from our experienced and high-performing sister agency LFA. Reporting to our Founder Rosie Davies and marketing director, Cecilie, you will manage internal social media, content, keep contact database up to day, deal with community, new business enquires and internal PR outreach. You will also play an important part in the development of our content strategy, co-ordinating workshops to create engaging content for the community. 

Responsibilities

  • Know your magazines and keep online platform magazine contacts up to date.

  • In touch with our community and answering their questions

  • Implementing the content for PR Dispatch’s own online presence across all channels (email marketing, social media, blog etc) increasing following, brand awareness and website traffic

  • Internal PR including speaking opportunities for founder Rosie, interviews, workshops, partnerships etc

  • Occasionally represent PR Dispatch at trade shows or events

  • Effective delegation of tasks to interns along with participating in their oversight and feedback

Your skills and experience:

  • We value attitude over experience

  • Great writing skills and a keen eye for grammar

  • Organised & systematic - you’re creative but you also know how to get things done efficiently

  • Creative - Can use photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.
